Working with UTRF
The state of Tennessee is proud to be consistently recognized as having one of the most business-friendly environments in the US, and the University of Tennessee Research Foundation works to live up to this standard. At UTRF we believe in getting deals done, and we also know that companies usually have a choice of partners to work with, so we will work with you to find the deal terms that benefit all parties.
To maximally shorten the licensing process UTRF recommends starting a negotiation from one of our template agreements, provided below. However, working from a UTRF template is completely optional, if you feel that the template is not appropriate or simply would prefer to start from your own template just let us know.
UTRF Tech Transfer serves as a bridge between researchers, industry, entrepreneurs and investors.
